Cindy Crawford, the supermodel with one of the world’s most famous moles, has admitted in a recent interview by French magazine “Gala”, that she owes a lot of her good looks (at the ripe age of 40) to her cosmetic surgeon.
” I owe the quality of my skin to my cosmetic surgeon. I’m not going to lie to myself. Past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections, Botox and collagen.”
Cindy was born and raised in Illinois, and got her first break after being spotted by a local photographer while on a summer job pollinating corn. Next was a runner-up win at the John Casablancas “Look of the Year” contest, and she then dropped out of freshman year at Northwestern to pursue a full-time modeling career abroad. Cindy, along with Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista were among the first “Supermodels” in the industry, making her one of the most famous faces in the 80’s and 90’s.
Dubbed the “All-American Dream Girl” by fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, Cindy Crawford has appeared in over 600 magaine covers around the world, including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and People. She was also the first supermodel ever to pose nude for Playboy magazine.
Previously married to Richard Gere, Cindy is now married to Randy Gerber and has two children, ages 7 and 5.
And lets not forgot one more Cindy revelation – her love for the feel of a satisfying bowel movement.
