Hollywood sometimes reminds me of my hometown where everyone from high school married in the same circles, or is connected by some weird way or another.
So when the UK press like the Evening Standard and Daily Mail started talking about Tom Pitt replacing Brad Cruise….sorry…um….Brangelina, no…Tomcat…ok.. well, you know who I mean – for the next installment of the Mission Impossible films, well, it just goes to show what a small town Hollywood really is.
Brad Pitt, who seems to be getting even more good-looking and personable in his new daddy role, will apparently NOT be playing Ethan Hunt, the character of Tom Cruise, who by comparison is on a downward, headed-to-creepyville spiral in both looks and popularity.
Brad has not confirmed nor denied the allegations, but the producers are intent on casting him as the studly new operative head of the dangerous missions (while Ethan is shipped off to retirement with a new wife– curiously like what Paramount did in real life), and they are offering him a princely sum of $39 M – making Brad the highest paid actor in the universe.
