Actors have to put up with a lot of things - from a loss of privacy, long working hours, ridiculously high pay, screaming fans and of course, the papparazzi. Never did Hugh Grant expect though that he would end up in handcuffs with a fan though. Grant was at the premiere of his new movie, Music and Lyrics, in Amsterdam. Suddenly a Dutch reporter, Cielke Sijben, slipped handcuffs on the actor - talk about new accessories.

Grant handled it well. He simply continued to stroll down the red carpet as if nothing happened. The fire department managed to separate him from his companion in about ten minutes though he had to wear his new bracelet throughout the premiere.

As for the Dutch reporter, Sibjen is said to have been placed in police custody immediately after being separated from Grant. A Dutch website, RadioBitches, reports that the 22 year old joined the Dutch TV Network 101 TV in 2006.

It is perfectly normal for women to get pregnant. It happens to thousands of women everyday. But when a celebrity is expecting, people can’t help but go on baby watch. The fans are as excited as if their favorite actress or singer were a close family friend rather than a total stranger they only see from a distance. It could also be that the fans know how big a decision it is for any actress to choose to have a child as it may interrupt their career, if not bring it to a screeching halt.

Still, the fans of Naomi Watts are definitely excited for the star. Now baby watch is up for Salma Hayek as well. Hayek very recently announced both her engagement and her pregnancy. The 40 year actress/producer is now engaged to Francois-Henry Pinolt, chairman of PPR SA (the company owns high fashion houses among which are Yves Saint Lauren and Gucci).

Who else will be added to the expectants list? Many will have to wait and see. Not all the stars like to display their child from the embryo like Demi Moore or Britney Spears.

Many of us would remember Sinbad, also known as David Adkins, as the funny comedian actor who had his way on the big screen with his funny antics that would make people laugh. But the news that broke out some days back with regards to his supposed heart attack was no laughing matter.

The 50 year old actor reportedly died of a heart attack on March 14, 2007 as reported by Wikipedia that drew the headlines of most newsrooms. Apparently, it was a vandalized report as Wikipedia can be edited. Sinbad is in top shape and has no health problems. He is best remembered for his role in Houseguest as the swindler who took the identity of a dentist to avoid the mob.

While people would feast on such headlines of celebrities in the limelight, this was certainly far from amusing. But the good news is that it was all a fluke and that all Sinbad fans can heave a sigh of relief that their favorite comedian is up and well.

Popular action star Mel Gibson has been often faced criticism for the movies that he has produced and it seems that the trend will continue to go on. After facing some violent reactions towards “Passion of the Christ” where he was severely questioned for its basis, he is at it again with his new film “Apocalypto”.

Apparently, Gibson was entertaining questions at the California State University when one professor from the Central American studies, Alicia Estrada questioned the misrepresentation of the Mayan culture from the movie. Gibson traded words with Estrada who was later on escorted out for her supposed misconduct and heckling barbs at the famed Hollywood actor-producer.

If there is one thing that differs from acting and directing, it is that of consistency with the races to which Gibson has been catering to. Known to be one of the hot male actors of his time in such flicks as “Lethal Weapon” and “The Patriot”, Gibson has been always the center of controversy with his film releases.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe broke up last year. No word was leaked of the true reasons why. Both actors don’t seem to be grieving though. Both celebrities look like they are moving on just fine.

The actress has revamped her look as part of her new status. Look out, baby, her comes a brand new Reese Witherspoon with a much better sense of style thanks to Nina Ricci designer, Olivier Theyskens. Witherspoon says that she cleaned out her closet, creating on the floor a pile of clothes that she admits were influenced by her various roles and were not at all to her personal taste. Sounds like it was a much needed ‘Queer Eye For the Straight Girl” thing without actually being on the show

If anyone is thinking that this girl is at home, grieving her loss while Phillippe up and does the rounds of the latest Hollywood ladies, they can think again. She has her new beau in Jake Gyllenhaal, who may soon be stepping into a superhero suit soon as either Captain Marvel or as the new Spiderman - replacing Tobey Maguire.

It’s good news for Kid Rock. The prosecutor’s office of Oakland County, Michigan decided not to charge him for assault. The decision not to press charges was made since could not confirm the complaint raised. There were too many conflicting eye witness reports. The photographs and medical report could not substantiate the claims either.

The unnamed woman claimed that Kid Rock had invited her and a friend to his home in Independence Township where he played for them some songs that he was working on. When she had to go, he got angry, verbally abusive and pushed her into a snowbank. This is what she told WDIV-TV in an interview.

The 28 year old woman who claimed that Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, assaulted her outside his Detroit home isn’t going to walk away from this unscathed. The singer did not take kindly to the accusation and will definitely be taking action. Kid Rock’s lawyer has already announced that they will be suing her for filing a false police report. He said they “intend to fully pursue his civil remedies against this person as soon as we determine who she is.”

Speculation has been running high for weeks on whether Naomi Watts is pregnant. No one from the camp of the star of King Kong and Mulholland Drive however has come forward to confirm the rumors til Monday night. Watt’s boyfriend, Liev Schreiber, himself did so on the Conan O’Brien show.

Even if Schreiber hadn’t said anything though, it was already pretty obvious. As she stepped out on the red carpet at the Oscars with Nicole Kidman, the yellow Escada gown she had on lovingly traced the shape of her baby bump. The dress designer himself spilled the beans about it saying, “The Escada gown set off her most precious new asset - the baby she is expecting with longtime boyfriend Liev Schreiber.”

Schriber says that he is excited to be a dad and will definitely not name his son Liev as it is one of the most mispronounced names in history. This is their first child together and Watts was very excited that her baby got to attend the Oscars, even as an embryo.

Michael Jackson has his place in history. He is considered the King of pop music. He brought a whole new sound, style of dancing and pioneered some of the most creative music videos. He is indeed a talented artist who can be considered a legend.

Jackson is also famous for his many off stage problems, most of them involving children. He has been sued a number of times on child molestation charges which so far have all been proven false but has definitely put a damper on his career.

Now, the singer is being charged by a dead woman’s family. The children of Manuela Gomez Ruiz claim that his visit to Marian Medical Center resulted in chaos and a circus like atmosphere which was definitely detrimental to the recovery of their mother who had suffered a heart attack. According to them, their mother had been placed on life suport in a two bed trauma room. They insist that their mother was hurriedly taken off life support and improperly cared for just to give way to the pop star who suffered from flu like symptoms. Please note that all of this happened two years ago, during the time that Jackson was on trial for molestation.

As far as the hospital is concerned, it is just a ploy to make money. In a written statement they say that, “Patient care and safety is always our first priority at Marian. As such, we are confident the care provided to Mrs. Ruiz was exceptional.”

While attending an AIDS charity benefet at the Koko Club in London, Kelly Osborne revealed that a member of her family has AIDS. Osborne says that taking part in the charity is a very important to her because of this and that she is very proud of her relative. She did not specify who it was though she did say it was a male.

Kelly Osborne and her mom Sharon have both been involved with various HIV charities. It is only now however that any personal motivation behind their decision to support the campaign has come to light. Kelly Osborne was looked very emotional and tearful as she made her revelation.

Britney Spears has been trying very hard to stay in the public eye. She knows that being seen around about or in the papers, tabloids and gossip rags that the papparazzi work for or supply pictures too. Britney has been seen without her knickers while out on the town with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, dancing and stripping at various Las Vegas clubs and now, she has gone bald.

Yes it was a surprise to almost everybody. No one expected the pop princess to go and get rid of her hair. It is a very drastic move and it makes Britney appear very stressed.

Britney’s new look was discovered when she was on her way to the “Body and Soul” tattoo shop. Britney had two tattoos placed. The first one is on her wrist and the other on her lower hip.

People are wondering if she is close to having a nervous breakdown. She’s been acting wild since she filed for divorce. It sure looks that way to her fans.
