Not very many child celebrities make it intact through adulthood. The fame or at least the spoils of it usually end up getting them. On a bright note though, there are those who managed to survive fame and use it to their advantage through adulthood.

They start out fine enough in show business, sometimes raking in money more than their adult counterparts.  But somewhere, somehow, many end up lost and penniless, with nothing to show for all the long hours working instead of playing.  This is oft-repeated story in the business but fortunately some chose the right way.

She made wise decisions in marriage, family , and career.  she eventually ended up in politics particularly as an ambassador and diplomat.

Jodie Foster started her career at three years old as a Coppertone girl in a TV commercial.  She was a television actress before she became a movie star. Her first blockbuster as an adult was “The Silence of the Lambs”.  She remains to be one of the most respected actresses today.

Stardom at a very young age has not been good for many but these child celebrities prove that it is possible to survive and prevail over unexpected popularity even at such a tender state.

You ever wonder how celebrities always manage to look perfect everywhere from the red carpet to the big screen? Is it just good genes? Photoshop? A magic genie in their handbags? Possibly, but the main reason is simple: they eat right and exercise. For some delicious, budget-friendly, celebrity-style recipes, check out the following quick and easy meals.

Celebrity homes seem to be natural magnets for burglary.  Rich and famous people are thought to have something worth taking in spite of the risk of solid security.  Some burglars run off with their loot unidentified and unscathed while others have to get physical with celebrities who choose to fight it out.

1. LL Cool J

The burglar that entered actor-rapper LL Cool J’s home never thought he’d end up with a broken nose, jaw, and ribs.  The burglar, Jonathan Kirby had to fight it out with the rapper after being discovered in the kitchen.  The actor and his family were unharmed.  When asked what prompted him to slug it out with the burglar, LL Cool J said he was simply committed to keeping his family safe.  Kirby has a long record of thefts, drugs, and fights.

2.  Steve Jobs

Burglary is risky enough as it is but the risk of getting caught is far more real when one chooses to burglarize the house of Steve Jobs. Kariem McFarlin did not intentionally target Jobs but was happy enough to cart away many of the late Apple executive’s belongings including iPhones, iPads, Macs, iPods and Steve Job’s wallet containing his driver’s license and a single dollar.  In the end, it was his use of one of the stolen devices that gave away his location.

3.  P. Diddy

Sean Combs aka P. Diddy’s mansion was burglarized apparently not to steal anything in particular.  It would appear that Quamene Taylor simply wanted to experience P. Diddy’s life for about ten minutes.  He was found by the house caretaker wearing P. Diddy’s clothes and enjoying the star’s booze and food apparently without showing any interest to anything else. The burglar was charged for trespassing and petty larceny.

4.  Jon Bon Jovi

Nicholas Tracy, the man who burglarized several residential homes in the area of Navesink River Road, including that of Jon Bon Jovi was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison.  It was reported that the burglar was able to run off with about $ 100,000.00 worth of jewelry from Bon Jovi’s home.  Tracy was caught while committing another burglary in another house at the same area.  Only part of the stolen property has been recovered.

5.  Nicolas Cage

Nicholas Cage got the surprise of his life when he found a strange naked man in his house.  The burglar, Robert Furo Jr., was caught wearing only Cage’s jacket.  The star calmly escorted the man out of his house.  It is not clear whether his preference for the coat has anything to do with his listed occupation as a tailor.  He probably knew what a quality jacket is when he sees one.

Part of a celebrity’s life is being exposed to the often unwelcome attention from people who have stranger intentions than professing their adulation.  It would be interesting to know how to protect our home from burglaries through http://www.selecthomesecurity.com/.

Celebrity homes often bring images of grandeur, excess, and wealth, if you must. The truth however, is that there are celebrities who are as conscious as any regular person in conserving energy especially in their homes. It is worth noting that the City of Los Angeles which houses most of the celebrity homes is credited to having the highest number of energy-efficient buildings. Now on with the celebrities…

The 22,000 square-foot Brentwood Mansion of Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and husband, New England Patriots Star quarterback Tom Brady made headlines last year for being a showcase of energy-efficient green technology. Although the house has had its share of criticism for its huge size and estimated building cost of $ 20 million, Bundchen has pointed to its green features as defense including the use of sustainable building materials. solar energy, and rainwater recovery systems. Bundchen incidentally, is the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme and helped launched the UN’s Year of Sustainable Energy for All.

The standards include responsible site development, use of recycled and local materials, reduced water use, and the use of renewable energy utilities. Begley is known for his strong “”waste-nothing” belief.

TV programming has progressed immensely in the last decade. What used to be a majority of shows that merely entertained people when they were stuck in the house without anything better to do has now transformed into a billion-dollar industry that has people setting up viewing schedules, even to the point of cancelling appointments to be able to watch their shows. Even when technology has allowed for recording shows as they are aired.

Many couples have been living together for years without the benefit of marriage and seem to be happy with it.  Hollywood has its own share of celebrity couples who have been together for years, had children, and stuck with each other in controversial times, and yet prefer not to make it official in terms of wedding vow.  If they are so happy together, why do they choose to remain unmarried?

We hear many couples say  that marriage seems to rob a relationship of excitement and passion because the word is connected to responsibilities.  Some see marriage as a spoiler of relationships that are doing great since a written agreement tend to put too much stress on couples.  The expectations that come with marriage usually succeed in making couples feel restricted and obligated.  In the Hollywood atmosphere where much pressure is already exerted on celebrities to act and feel in a certain way, additional pressure may just be too much for most celebrity relationships.

Celebrity couples who decided not to tie the knot and yet remain together are many.  Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham settled for a spiritual union and is still going strong after 25 or so years.  Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together for about 30 years but enjoy the idea of treating each other as girlfriend-boyfriend so no marriage will destroy such fun for them.  Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts remain unmarried after seven years of being together and having two children although they say that they are not totally against the idea.  Tina Turner and Erwin Bach have been together for almost thirty years but have remained unmarried which has led many to speculate that Tina will never remarry after her much-publicized traumatic marriage with Ike Turner.

These are just some of the many couples who refuse to take the next step and are perfectly happy with it.

Not everyone who makes a name in Hollywood will be afforded the privilege of being considered as icons.  With the great interest of the public with what celebrities wear, fashion has become part and parcel of Hollywood.  Some celebrities manage to end up as fashion icons who continue to wield their fashion influence long after they have left the limelight.

What makes a fashion icon?  A fashion icon must have established his or her own distinctive style that gets to be identified with him or her.  These icons are usually able to start a trend instead of following one.  Fashion icons are remembered in a good sense as opposed to fashion victims who are able to attract much attention but usually in a negative way.

Audrey Hepburn will always be remembered as the epitome of glamour both in the genre of Breakfast at Tiffany and her casual style of Capri pants and ballet shoes.  Grace Kelly, the Hollywood actress turned princess, will always be identified with her classic sophistication befitting her stature.  There is even a bag style named after her.

Marilyn Monroe has likewise inspired her own following for seductive dressing.  Greta Garbo made structured outfits and hats fitting for everyday use.  Marlene Dietrich was known for wearing men’s wear.

Male fashion icons in Hollywood are not wanting.  Heading the list is Rudolph Valentino who was best remembered wearing his signature gaucho pants and wristwatches.  Clark Gable epitomized sophisticated and gentlemanly wear.  Who could ever forget the fashion styles of Elvis Presley and James Dean, who took the art of dressing to its flashy and boy-next-door look, respectively to new levels?

It isn’t as if kids of Hollywood celebrities don’t already attract too much attention by just being children of their parents that they just have to get the attention of “fashion critics” for their individual sartorial styles.  Celebrity magazines provide a peek of the clothes they wear at their every outing in a very consistent manner that it would be hard not to notice.  Each child who is undoubtedly under the watchful eye of an equally fashion conscious parent, always comes out in style even in the simplest garb.

1,  Suri Cruise

This girl can probably get away with anything in terms of clothes.  She is very rarely seen in public looking like she never gave a thought to what she’s wearing.  Her fashion sense earned for her , her own set of paparazzi literally waiting at the family’s doorstep to get the first glimpse of her clothes.  She has recently been spotted in less “formal” attires but no less fashionable specifically when she is in the company of her mother Katie Holmes after her estrangement with Tom Cruise.

2.  Kingston Rossdale

Kingston definitely has his own style with a little help from his designer mom Gwen Stefani.  He has been spotted in the most outrageous and the most impeccable fashion display that it is always exciting to guess what he’ll come up with next.    He appears to be enjoying the freedom of being able to dress up the way he wants to.

3. Shiloh Jolie Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter seemed to have set her mind for now for a “tomboyish” look with results that are practical for her age.  Her outfits are as interesting as the other two child celebrities in this list.  These three may have different fashion sense from each other but they seem to make it work individually.

Gossip has long been associated with the movie industry.  It is almost impossible to think of Hollywood without it.  In more ways than one, it is like a substance that fuels continued interest in the industry and the people that move within it.

We are quite familiar with the saying that says: “Good or Bad Publicity is still publicity.”  The origin of these words is not quite clear but it can be safely surmised that it came from someone in the industry probably rationalizing what good could be obtained even from negative stories.  For many who are still trying to make a name for themselves, caution is often thrown to the wind just to have that so-called “15-minutes of fame” .

That is why we see so many celebrities seemingly haunted by past indiscretions and bad decisions.  It is easy enough to decide when one has nothing to lose but such decisions backfire once celebrities attain their much desired fame and popularity.  When one is famous, it would now seem that there is everything to lose.

Many of these celebrities who have allowed themselves to be part of a less than proud moment in their lives are victims of a system that takes advantage of limited opportunities and difficult circumstances.  It is quite obvious that if they had the power to undo such a past, they would have done it in a second.  Fortunately, many celebrities are able to stand against this test and it is noteworthy that who do succeed in overcoming such temporary setbacks are those with genuine talent to offer.

From the late 1920s up to the early 1960s, Hollywood is said to have gone through its golden age. This was the time when studios were quite prolific in their movie production.  The movie that signaled its start was “The Jazz Singer” which starred Al Jolson.  The movie was such a success that it was able to single-handedly rescued the financially-strapped Warner Bros. Studio.  It was able to buy a string of theaters and this has proven to be a big advantage,  being producers of movies.

Hollywood was operating under a studio system wherein the studios makes movies and maintain thousands  of actors, directors, producers, and other people working in the industry under their employ.  These studios own hundreds of theaters were all their finished movies were just waiting to be shown.  The Hollywood star system was also in effect during this time as studios started creating their own group of bankable stars.

This was the time when the likes of Great Garbo, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Katharine Hepburn, Marlon Brando, Ginger Rogers, Vivien Leigh, and Shirley Temple, among many others literally hogged the limelight for being stars in their own right.  Disney also experienced its very first film animation success during this era courtesy of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.  The films made during this time are considered classics.

The Golden Age of Hollywood was characterized by much elegance and glamour.  Movie stars were almost treated as more than earthly beings with the adulation showered on most of them.  This did not mean however that they were superior in any way but the mystique that was purposely created around them helped create such an illusion.

The younger generation may not have had the chance to see this exciting time in movies but they can see a glimpse of it when they get to watch classic movies.  Providers which specialize in classic movies may provide suggestions when viewers are looking into movie trailers for their next movie watch.  Seeing stars of the Hollywood Golden era in movies that made them famous is sure to be a treat.
