Dennis, May God bless you and keep you as healthy as
possible, for as long as possible. Unfortunately I need to "speak my mind" about the lack of original and quality films being churned out of Hollywood. Aside from the Inde. Market, I get that movies like
Avatar will break the bank, but what about "real stories"? What about movies for intelligent people, adults, and leaving us in a resonating awe? I've been stuck in the "classic film" isle in every DVD rental store that's left, because I'd rather watch "THEY DRIVE BY NIGHT" fifty times, than to pay $12.50 for crap. I've made a deal with myself, to get rid of my flatscreen TV, and stay away from movie theaters By March 2011, if the entertainment business doesn't improve, and I will recruit others to do so as well. My favorite actors are dead and the actors who are living today are stale and bone dry, as are the stories and screenplays. Sorry, that's how I feel, and I have no regrets saying it.

To DearDennis,i am an up and coming pop artist (neo-pop) here on the island of Maui. I have always admired your work, as an actor, director, photographer, and i have always wanted to do my own humble rendering of you. Being a child of the 50s and 60s , i have run along side you, as in my early Hollywood and Sunset strip days.....San Francisco hippy days.....Carmel, and Monterey Photography days, ala Weston , Adams etc. then on to New York and my meeting with Andy Warhol, and now doing my own art out of my little factory west here in Lahaina.....today i begin my painting of you Dennis, with all my ALOHA. MAHALO, Davo.
