Looks like Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake aren’t the only ones making up again. Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie seem to have buried the hatchet. The two were spotted having dinner together at Dan Tana’s, a West Hollywood restaurant. Paris drove them over to the restaurant where they were seen talking and laughing non-stop. They also left together in Paris’ car. In fact, Nicole Ritchie was seen leaving Paris Hilton’s home the next day apparently after a sleepover.
Hilton and Ritchie recently agreed to shoot another season of the Simple Life. This time they will be camp counselors. Producer Jon Murray says that the stars of Simple Life will be exploring what led to the breakdown in their friendship and maybe clear up even more of the misunderstandings.
Whether it is just for show, publicity or indeed a true rekindling of their friendship, the pair is back in each other’s company and about to be back on TV.

Farrah Fawcett has confirmed that she has intestinal cancer. The US Spokesperson for Cancer said that she knew of the tumors existence before the Aaron Spelling tribute at the Emmy Awards last August 27. The tumor is a fast growing one and is said to be about the size of two strawberries on her lower intestine.
This former angel puts a good face on her illness. In a statement Fawcett says, “I am resolutely strong and I am determined to bite the bullet and fight the fight while going through the next six weeks of cutting edge, state-of the-art treatment. I should be able to return to my life as it was before”.
She has asked the media, photographers and paparazzi to please respect her privacy at this difficult time. She does appreciate the amazing outpouring of love and support that everyone has expressed since news of her illness was aired.
Farah Fawcett has proven that she is a professional as well. Back in July, the original angels came to an agreement with producers Henry Winkler and Michael Levitt to perform together for the 30th anniversary of Charlie’s Angels, the TV series that made them all famous. Winkler said that they were amazed that Farrah wanted to do the show knowing what she would be going through. For her to even consider doing so is not only courageous, it is the act of a true professional.
An interesting piece of trivia: both Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith have also battled cancer. Kate Jackson had two occurrences of breast cancer in the 1980′s while she was part of the TV series Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Jaclyn Smith was treated for breast cancer in 2002.

George Lucas believes that the days of blockbuster movies are numbered. The creator of the Star Wars series as well as a highly successful producer, he says that he perceives that the change will happen because of other entertainment mediums such as the internet and multi-channel TV.
Lucas says that as far as Lucasfilm is concerned, they will be going into television. The cost of making a movie is too high. The? $200 million dollars spent on making a single movie will produce 50 to 60 two hour movies; and as he perceives it quantity is the key element for future productions.
He also perceives that everything will eventually be pay-per-view or downloadable but he isn’t rushing to get his movies onto the iTunes catalog. The tastes of the people are becoming even more diversified as they gain more control, and have more choices of what to see. The big screen will hold less and less attraction for people.
There will however always be a need for great film makers, irregardless of whether they make films for a big screen or a small one. To that end, George Lucas has donated $175 million dollars to his Alma matter, the University of Southern California. His contribution is meant to be used to create a new School of Cinematic Arts.
Founded by actor Douglas Fairbanks in 1929, the USC School of Cinematic Arts is the oldest film school in the country. In the world of academia, he knows that movies are not well respected. He hopes that with his contribution, other universities will sit up and take notice of its importance. He points out that films are the major form of communication of the 21st century.

It’s been two years since Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake have shared a stage. It finally looks as though they have put “nipplegate” behind them and will be working together to help promote their new albums. The friendship between the two was strained when Justin tore away a portion of Janet’s corset, causing exposure of her breast and nipple ring. It was definitely the most remembered thing about the 2004 Superbowl. It’s been two years and people still remember it.
Word has it that talks are now underway for the two to once again perform together, preferably at something big and live, like the Grammy’s or the Oscars. It is said to be one of the most obvious publicity stunts since both singers have albums that they released last September. Looks like they’ve decided they need to pull off (not literally!) something big to get the public buying more albums.
Still it will be good to see both of these talented artists sharing a spotlight. Hopefully this time there’ll be no more wardrobe malfunctions, hmmm Justin?
In the meantime, Janet is busy working out, enjoying being back in shape. She had gained weight for a role as an aspiring singer in the movie “Tennessee”; the production of which has unfortunately been postponed indefinitely. She’s also busy promoting her current album “20 Y.O.”
Justin Timberlake on the other is busy promoting second album “FutureSex/Love Songs” which was released by Sony BMG last month. It has already produced one hit song, “Sexyback”.

The children were very pleased to meet her and describe her as the “nicest person you could ever imagine” as well as beautiful.
Her book is published by Puffin and has been made available worldwide, which will please her fans. Even better, Kylie will be back on the road this November. She’ll finally be pushing through with her Showgirl Tour which got postponed when she was diagnosed with cancer back in May 2005.It will definitely be good to have her back on stage.
